While many will be off enjoying the Memorial Day weekend, “Arrested Development” fans will be celebrating a holiday of a different sort — one that involves frozen bananas, denim cutoffs and chicken dances.
Yes, it’s finally here. Seven years after the cult-hit comedy went off the air, its 15-episode, fourth-season revival arrives on Netflix this Sunday at 3:01 a.m. ET.
Season four will catch viewers up on what the Bluth family has been up to since we last saw them. Each episode will focus on an individual character, 인천출장안마 with other characters making overlapping appearances.
All the new episodes will be released simultaneously, which poses the question: Do you devour all of them in a single sitting? Or ration them out and savor slowly?
“Arrested” creator Mitch Hurwitz thinks you should do the latter. In an interview with New York Magazine’s Vulture blog, he said that binging on the entire seven-and-a-half hour season would make the material less funny.
“Don’t feel obligated to watch it all at once,” he advised. “It’s a comedy! It’s not like ‘Lord of the Rings.’ Comedy takes a lot out of you.” (He also explained that the episodes must be watched in order.)
Two of the show’s stars have also offered up viewing suggestions: Jason Bateman, who portrays Michael Bluth, told Rolling Stone that he plans to watch four episodes a day. Will Arnett, who plays his older brother Gob, thinks fans should go whole hog. “I think you’ve gotta hammer your way through. I think you just gotta hit play and don’t stop until you run out of battery on your viewing device,” he said.
